I love TED Talks because the speakers have such great ideas, they tell it in a interesting way so you stay hooked, and they don’t go on too long. (however I wouldn’t mind if each talk were 1 hour long)

Some of the ones that were really great (they are all very good at least):
Dan Gilbert: Why are we happy? Why aren’t we happy?
Barry Schwartz: The paradox of choice
Dan Dennett: Ants, terrorism, and the awesome power of meme
Ideas Worth Spreading: Hans Rosling from TED 2006
Richard Dawkins’ jaw-dropping talk on our bizarre universe
Carl Honore, author of In Praise of Slowness, explains how you can get more out of life by doing less.
How juries get fooled by statistics
Steven Levitt: the Freakonomics of inner-city gangs

Alot more to see on the TED website.
But don’t take their data to be true on face value!

the wikipedia article should break some myths.

I’m not going to cut ’n paste because the article’s content seems to change from time to time. I’m checking the references of the amazing claims in the article to be sure that I’m not believing a delusion.
